FAIRBANKS — A deal is being planned involving five Fairbanks radio stations.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says the New Northwest Broadcasting radio stations are being sold to new owners.
The stations will be sold to Anchor Radio for more than $1.6 million. The deal will have to be approved by the Federal Communications Commission.
The Fairbanks cluster of radio stations will broaden the reach of a media company that includes broadcasters in Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, New Jersey and Connecticut.
