Do pro-development types enjoy wilderness?

When Pete Webber asked on Dec. 27 if environmentalists kept their Alaska Permanent Fund dividends, he took a leap of logic. Personally, I would like to know how many resident development-at-any cost types - who maintain the opinion that we should rip up the wilderness for any and every project - enjoy the clean air and water, solitude and happy hunting and fishing.

Maybe they've got an environmentalist to thank for making sure wild areas are still there. Somewhat hypocritical, don't you think?
