Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
About 5:34 p.m. Thursday, Starla Miller, 41, was arrested at a gas station on Mendenhall Mall Road for drunken driving after being involved in an accident that damaged her vehicle and two others. Miller's Subaru suffered $6,000 damage. A Ford Ranger suffered $2,000 damage. A Chevy Lumina suffered $1,000 damage. Miller was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. There were no injuries.
Thefts, lost and found items:
Shortly before noon Thursday, a woman, 43, reported losing a green checkbook-style wallet in the downtown area near North Franklin and Second Street.
About 9:30 a.m. Thursday, a woman, 20, was served with an outstanding Juneau Police Department warrant at Gastineau Human Services. The warrant was for failure to appear on an original charge of assault, bail $150. She was also served an outstanding summons.
Shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday, a woman, 46, was arrested on Back Loop Road on an outstanding JPD warrant for failure to pay a fine and failure to comply with conditions of probation stemming from an original charge of domestic violence assault, with bail of $500 cash. She was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
About 5:15 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 28, was arrested on Jennifer Drive on two outstanding warrants. One warrant was for failure to appear at a status hearing on original charges of drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, resisting arrest, assault, and driving without a valid operator's license. The second warrant was for failure to appear at a status hearing on an original charge of drunken driving and driving without a valid license. She was lodged at state prison.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of vandalism to a 1999 Volkswagen Bug at the Vocational Tech parking lot near the harbor.
About 10 a.m. Thursday, a man, 49, reported to police that his 2001 Honda was hit while parked in a business parking lot between 5:10 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle sustained dents to the driver's side doors.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 39, reported her 1995 Subaru stationwagon hit while parked at the Breakwater Inn between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle sustained damage to the rear quarter panel. There were no leads or suspects.
This morning, a U.S. Coast Guard rescue helicopter crew from Sitka airlifted a Port Alexander man, 53, who suffered a possible stroke. The helicopter crew transported him to Sitka at 3:20 a.m. in stable condition. He is being treated at Sitka Community Hospital.
