Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 42, on charges of speeding and failure to carry insurance after an accident at 2:03 p.m. Monday in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway near Lemon Creek. The man was driving a 1992 Mazda that reportedly struck a 1995 Ford, driven by a man, 58. Damage was estimated at $100 to the Mazda and $1,000 to the Ford.

• Police issued a written warning of speed to a woman, 20, after a single-vehicle accident involving a 1990 Chevrolet truck at 8:44 p.m. on Thane Road.

• At 3:29 a.m. Tuesday, a woman, 40, lost control of her 2002 Chevrolet van on inbound Egan Drive in the Twin Lakes area and struck the guardrail. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

• At 9:02 a.m. Tuesday, a 1991 Ford, driven by a man, 47, reportedly slid on the ice in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue and struck a 2002 Lincoln Navigator, owned by a woman, 44. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Ford and $1,000 to the Lincoln.

Hit and run:

• Police arrested a man, 25, on charges of failing to give immediate notice after an accident and driving while his license was canceled. He was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident reported at 7:26 p.m. Monday in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. Police also cited the man for careless driving.
