ANCHORAGE - A Sitka teen will have her artwork cover an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-400.
Hannah Hamberg's design is tops among thousands entered in a statewide competition.
Hamberg, 16, will have her work adorn the outside of the aircraft to commemorate the Alaska's 50th anniversary of statehood.
Hamberg's work depicts features considered symbolic of the state's heritage.
The drawing includes a ferry, a Native Alaskan canoe, plus wildlife and sealife found throughout the state, such as bears and whales.
