Juneau police and fire officials reported:

Fraud:

• At 2:04 p.m. Sunday, police investigated the report of check fraud in the 8400 block of Steep Place.

• At 10:50 a.m. Monday, police investigated the report of check fraud in the Juneau area.

Sex crime:

• At 4:23 p.m. Sunday, police investigated the report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft:

• At 3:28 p.m. Sunday, a wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue.

• At 8:24 p.m. Sunday, a key was reported stolen from an office in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road.

• At 7:04 a.m. Monday, boat equipment valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a boat in the 11900 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 7:19 a.m. Monday, nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

Vandalism:

• At 6:59 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man reported vandalism to a building in the 1600 block of Renninger Street.

Vehicle accident:

• At 1:10 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old woman was cited for basic speed after losing control of her vehicle on Egan Drive and striking the guardrail.

• At 3 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man was cited for careless driving after he lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet and flipped it into a ditch on Mendenhall Loop Road.
