Police and fire blotter

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

A woman, no age given, reported about 8 p.m. Wednesday that her son's baseball bag was stolen from their unlocked Dodge minivan parked near McGinnis Drive. The bag contained two baseball mitts, baseballs and tennis balls.

A woman, 34, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kmart for concealment of merchandise. She was released at the scene.

A man, 24, was arrested shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kmart for concealment of merchandise and resisting arrest. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accidents:

An ambulance and another emergency vehicle responded to a motor vehicle accident reported at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday on Glacier Highway near the Shrine of St. Therese. A woman was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital due to a head injury. She was treated in the emergency room and then released. Some drivers did not make way for emergency vehicles. Officials remind drivers that rules of the road specify that all vehicles must move to the shoulder and stop when they hear sirens or see flashing emergency lights.

Other:

Shortly after midnight Wednesday, police arrested a woman, 42, at an apartment house on South Franklin Street for failure to comply with conditions of her probation.
