Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Steven Robert Lewis, 23, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:35 a.m. Sunday near Front Street and Seward Street. He also was charged with reckless endangerment. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• Police arrested a man, 20, on two counts of misdemeanor assault at 3:19 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area following a fight. He was lodged at the state prison.

• Timothy Beagle, 32, was arrested on charges of fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, at 2:39 p.m. Sunday near West Ninth Street. Another man, 39, was arrested for filing a false report, a misdemeanor. Police said Beagle approached a man in a vehicle near in the Crow Hill area, allegedly offering to sell him pills. When the man declined to buy the pills, Beagle allegedly punched the windshield and passenger window of the man's vehicle, causing $2,000 in damage. Police said the second man arrested threatened to make a report against the alleged victim. Both were lodged at the state prison. The type of pills was not disclosed and police said it appears the men all knew each other.


• A wallet was reported stolen 10:16 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway.

• A purse was reported stolen at 12:06 p.m. Saturday from an unlocked vehicle on Jordan Avenue.

• A pearl bracelet, a black feather boa, a leopard print headband and a single in-line skate were reported stolen at 11:58 a.m. Sunday from a residence near Foster Avenue.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• A wind visor, valued at $85, was reported broken at 9:59 a.m. Sunday on a green 2002 Ford Focus parked near Portage Boulevard.

• A business was reported vandalized with spray paint at 9:35 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

• Two vehicle tires were reported slashed at 2:41 p.m. Saturday near Trafalgar Street.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited and released a girl, 16, for underage drinking at 8:35 p.m. Saturday near Second Street and Franklin Street.


• Police cited and released a man, 35, for disorderly conduct at 12:45 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway. Police believe alcohol was a factor.

• Police arrested a man, 29, for disorderly conduct at 1:17 a.m. today near Willoughby Avenue.
