A story in Wednesday's Empire, about a state lawsuit over federal water rights, inaccurately stated that subsistence rights are granted to rural residents, with a priority for Native users. The Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act gives all rural Alaskans a priority for subsistence uses.
