Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested a man, 41, for assault at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday near Pocket Park downtown. He also was charged with interfering with the report of a crime. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A man, 47, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 3:12 a.m. today downtown. He was lodged at the state prison. Police believe alcohol was a factor.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A 2002 Toyota was reported egged at 7:59 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Avenue. The vehicle also was vandalized with colored marker and sustained a small dent. No damage estimate was available.
A window was reported broken in a shop at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday near Dunn Street. Damage was estimated at $250.
A tire on a 1999 Mazda truck was reported slashed at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday near Renninger Drive.
A vehicle was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday near Harris Street. A damage estimate was not available, but the wheel well of the vehicle was caved in.
A brown paper bag filled with cash and checks was reported lost at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Avenue.

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for destroying several Juneau Empire vending boxes at the Mendenhall Loop and Back Loop Road intersection, Valley Boulevard and Mendenhall Boulevard intersection and Thunder Mountain Road.
All three boxes were beaten in with what appeared to be a crowbar. Damage is estimated at $1,200.
