Audra Henderson, a 2000 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, was selected as an Intern for the "Late Show. with David Letterman." Henderson began the semester long internship on Jan. 6 and will be working in the research department. Henderson is a junior at Penn State University majoring in communications. She is the daughter of Remond and JoAnn Henderson.

Eastern Oregon University has announced its dean's list for the 2002 fall term. More than 430 students achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Qualifying students must have fulfilled a minimum of 12 graded hours, which ended Dec. 13.

EOU's fall 2002 list includes the names of students from throughout Ore., the nation and countries around the world.

Dean's list students from Juneau include:

Christian Carpeneti, Emily Moore, Michael VanderJack

Liz Brooks and Luke Dihle, both of Juneau, were listed on the dean's list at Montana State University Bozeman for the fall semester 2002.

Thirty-eight students from Alaska earned a place on the University's Dean's or President's lists. Students must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to be placed on the either list.
