Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Automobile accident:

• A 41-year-old man said his 1998 Chevrolet was struck by another vehicle in a hit-and-run at 10:32 p.m. Saturday on Shell Simmons Drive. His vehicle sustained $500 in damage.

Bear report:

• Police received a report of a bear cub on Douglas Highway at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Theft:

• A 23-year-old man said a DVD was stolen at about 2:37 p.m. Saturday on Mendenhall Mall Drive.

• A 36-year-old woman said her Gene Chilton silver bracelet with an engraving of a raven surrounded by four smaller ravens was stolen at 2:55 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Douglas Highway.

Vandalism:

• A 24-year-old man said a tire was slashed on his 2004 Chevrolet at about 8:38 p.m. on West Willoughby Avenue.

Warrant arrest:

• Michael Bryan Peeler, 24, was arrested Sunday on Front Street on a felony warrant for failure to appear in court. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
