Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
Robin Jean Park, 39, was arrested shortly before midnight Friday in a parking lot on Glacier Highway for driving while intoxicated. She was additionally charged with refusing to submit to a breath test, and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a woman screaming at an 11th Street residence. A woman, 18, said a man had struck her. The suspect had left prior to the officer's arrival. The incident is under investigation.
A student reported about 3:30 p.m. Friday that his sister's backpack had been stolen from her locker at Juneau-Douglas High School. Investigation continues.
A woman (no age given) reported about 4 p.m. Friday that her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle in a Mendenhall Valley parking lot.
A girl, 15, was detained about 7:30 p.m. Friday for shoplifting at Lamonts. She was released to her father.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A man (age not given) reported shortly after noon Friday that his truck parked on Glacier Highway had been broken into Thursday night. The windshield was broken in several places. The ignition switch was broken off and the rear view mirror broken. He estimated damage at $750.
About 9 p.m. Friday, a one-car accident occurred on Goat Hill Road. No one was transported.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, the Glacier fire station responded to an accident call from David Street. No one was transported.
About 1 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle driving down Martin Street found the surface so slippery that the driver could not make the left onto Irwin, and slid into the guardrail at the top of Evergreen Cemetery. There were no injuries.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Glacier Highway shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, and arrested a man, 24, for driving while his license was revoked. He was cited and released at the scene. His vehicle was impounded.
