Kazama heads housing group: Blake Kazama has been elected president of the Alaska Association of Housing Authorities.
Kazama, executive director of Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority, will serve a one-year term for the 14-member organization that provides education and training for senior staff members, and funding information and technical assistance to state and federal agencies.
Doctor goes full-time at Wellspring: Patrick Neary, a naturopathic doctor with seven years experience, has gone to full-time status with Wellspring after joining the health-care center in the fall on a part-time basis.
Neary has closed his five-year private practice and transferred patients to Wellspring. The move allows his patients a wider range of services, the office said.

She had to pass an exam demonstrating skill, knowledge and application in payroll, inventory, depreciation, correcting journal entries and adjusting entries. Carrillo is a staff accountant for Elgee, Rehfeld & Funk CPAs, where she has worked for 30 years.
