Nicole Davis, of Juneau, and Matthew Hanly, of Sydney, Australia, were married in a civil ceremony on Dec. 26, 2007, in Canberra, Australia.

The bride is the daughter of Raemel Davis, of Juneau. She is a 2005 graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and a former student of the University of Alaska Southeast.

The groom is the son of Tony and Kathy Hanly, of Kurri Kurri, Australia. He is a 2001 graduate of Kurri Kurri High School and a former student of the Canberra Institiute of Technology. He is employed as a New South Wales police officer.

The couple will make their home in Sydney.
