Accusations against SEACC ring false

Posted: Sunday, January 10, 2010

In his letter published Jan. 5, Bradley Fluetsch claims to know the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council. Yet his accusations about the organization indicate otherwise.

Among other false statements in his letter, he writes that SEACC is "fighting development of a sustainable economy here in Southeast." In fact, SEACC is fighting for a sustainable economy. Sustainable economic development is development that meets present needs without compromising the needs of future generations. And, that's exactly what SEACC is working to accomplish.
