JUNEAU - DanceFest Argentine tango instructors Eric Lindgren and Rebecca Smith will teach beginning and intermediate tango lessons, called "Hot Winter Tango," starting Tuesday at the Filipino Community Hall, 251 South Franklin St., upstairs.
Classes are as follows:
Beginning Milonga - 6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesdays for four weeks, Jan. 12, 19 and 26 and Feb. 2.
Beginning Tango - 8-9:15 p.m. Tuesdays for four weeks, Jan. 12, 19 and 26 and Feb. 2.
Intermediate/Advanced Tango - 7-8:15 p.m. Wednesdays for four weeks, Jan. 13, 20 and 27 and Feb. 3.
Practica for all levels - 8:15 p.m. Wednesdays for four weeks, Jan. 13, 20 and 27 and Feb. 3.
Practilonga - 7-10 p.m. Fridays in January. It includes a 45-minute lesson for $5 and is free to all students taking any series.
Intermediate Tango - 1:30-2:45 p.m.
Beginning Tango - 3-4:15 p.m.
Practica - 4:15 p.m.
Cost for four-week series are $60. Pre-registration before Jan. 9 was $45. High school students are 50 percent off. Costs per class are $16 for one, $30 for two, $42 for three and $52 for four.
