The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium will host special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinics at the Trudy Wolfe Medical Clinic in Hoonah, Feb. 8-12; at the Jessie Norma Jim Health Center in Angoon, Feb. 1-5; and at the Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic in Sitka, Feb. 1-5.
Each pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week. The clinics are open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the state of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid.
Dr. Howard Hunt will lead the pediatric dental team in Hoonah and Angoon, and Dr. Kristi Linsenmayer will lead the team in Sitka.

Denali KidCare is a state program that provides health insurance and access to health care for Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and for expecting mothers who meet income guidelines. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
