Thanks for showing generosity to the Glory Hole this season

Posted: Sunday, January 10, 2010

The Glory Hole's holiday season was wonderful and heartwarming. Thanks to the generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness of Juneau's community, faith-based organizations and individuals, everyone who requested a holiday food box, needed a coat, socks, hats or other warm clothing, camping supplies received what they needed. More supplies, hygiene products, socks, warm clothing and food items for regular food boxes are stored for distribution throughout the winter.

The Glory Hole staff patrons, board of directors and staff would like to thank the community of Juneau and those who have contributed from outside of Juneau for all the support.

We particularly like to acknowledge congregation Sukkatt Shalom, the U.S. Coast Guard, Juneau Empire, KTOO, KINY, the US Forest Service, Fish and Game, Dr. Emily Kane, Katherine Kane, Alice Ottoson McKeen, Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School, Rendezvous Bar, Front Street Clinic, Eagle Wings Church, St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Southeast Alaska Foodbank, Betty and Norman Miller, Dr. Lam's Clinic, Alaskan and Proud Supermarket, Costco, Superbear, Safeway, Glacier Swim Club, JDHS Interact Club, Rotary, Rotaract, the Rolling Freight Train and all the organizations, businesses and individuals who donated money.

Thank you again and if you feel that we missed you please forgive us and email us at so we can humbly and happily correct the oversight on our Web site.
