Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Sabrina Marie Chappell, 21, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:52 a.m. today near the Sprucewood Trailer Park. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle she was driving was left parked.

Police arrested Jorell William Zellweger, 20, for drunken driving and underage drinking at 1:08 a.m. today near outbound Glacier Highway and Twin Lakes. The vehicle he was driving was released to a sober driver.


A Juneau resident reported at 2:38 p.m. Thursday near Juneau-Douglas High School that her black Candies purse was stolen. The purse contained a black Microsoft MP3 player, serial number RIO600. The purse also contained a mirror, bus passes, voter registration card and a key chain.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A man reported at 8:41 a.m. Thursday from Glacier Highway near Lemon Creek that his 1988 silver Ford truck was struck last week by an unknown vehicle while parked in the parking lot of Fred Meyer. There was damage to the passenger side bumper, turn signal and front tire. There are no known suspects.


Three men were arrested at 11:44 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway after they allegedly broke through a locked door of an occupied residence. One man, 21, was arrested for interfering with an officer. The second man,18, was arrested for disorderly conduct, underage drinking, and criminal trespass. A third man, 22, was arrested for criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident.
