On Saturday, Eaglecrest Ski Area reported 34 inches of snow at the lodge and 90 inches on top, with just a trace of new snow.
The following runs were groomed for soft-snow turning on Saturday: Easy Bowl, Williwaw, Inside Passage, Cheechako, Mother Lode, Sluice Box, GS, Lower Hilary's, Ego, Logjam, Runout for Raven, Sneaky, Trickster, Sourdough, Muskeg and Dolly Varden.
The Lower Meadow Loop and the Upper Hilda/Troy Loops were trackset Saturday.
Juneau Nordic Ski Club's members reported the Mendenhall Campground was groomed Friday night for classic and skating. The trails at Eagle Beach State Park were groomed Friday.
Parking on Skater's Cabin Road is allowed only on the west side beginning with the intersection of the entrance road to Mendenhall Campground all the way to the West Glacier Trailhead Parking Lot.
Mendenhall Lake was groomed Thursday night for classic and skating.
At Dredge Lakes, the wide trails were groomed for skating on Thursday night. All the other trails were packed with the snowmachine but not track set at the time.
