Two Juneau-Douglas High School wrestlers came through in the clutch to give the Crimson Bears the winning points in a pair of dual meets this weekend in Ketchikan.
On Friday, 119-pound Juneau junior Jordan Saceda pinned Ketchikan's Chet Ginter in the teams' final match, earning six team points and lifting the Crimson Bears to a 39-36 win over the Kings.
Juneau freshman Garret Cox (135 pounds) was the hero on Saturday, winning a 7-6 decision over Sitka's Kyle Johnson in the final match to earn three points and provide the winning margin in a 30-27 win over the Wolves.
In Juneau's other dual meets over the weekend, the Crimson Bears beat Sitka 39-27 on Friday, and lost to Ketchikan 44-24 on Saturday.
Saceda and junior Jake Ritter (215 pounds) each went a perfect 4-0 on the weekend for Juneau. Sophomore Clinton Clark and freshman Dante Santos went 3-1 for the Crimson Bears.
Juneau will travel to Sitka next weekend for the last meet of the regular season.
