Juneau police and fire officials and state troopers reported:
At about 6:05 p.m. Friday, police investigated a burglary in the 9200 block of Hurlock Avenue.
At about 7:20 p.m. Friday, Garry Young was arrested on charges of drunken driving in the 8200 block of Aspen Avenue. He was transported and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At about 4 a.m. Saturday, Alexander Ian Polyak, 24, was arrested and charged with drunken driving, reckless endangerment and two counts of misconduct involving a weapon on University Drive. He was transported and lodged at the state prison.
At about 10 p.m. Friday, a 32-year-old man reported he lost a silver Olympus digital camera valued at $160 in the Juneau area.
At about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, a 21-year-old man was cited and released for larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 6 p.m. Thursday, a 55-year-old man reported his briefcase was stolen from inside his workplace in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue.
At about 12:55 p.m. Friday, a 21-year-old woman reported her purse and credit cards were stolen in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive. The credit cards have since been used fraudulently.
At about 1:30 p.m. Friday, a 46-year-old woman reported the theft of her purse, containing about $350 worth of medications, and credit cards in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue. Her credit cards were later used fraudulently.
At about 12:05 a.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old man was arrested on charges of shoplifting in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. He was transported and lodged at the state prison.
At about 2 a.m. Saturday, a 42-year-old woman reported her prescription medication, valued at $24, was stolen from the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
At about 3:30 p.m. Friday, a Ford van struck a patrol vehicle on Northwood Drive. No damage was reported to the Ford, but the patrol car sustained $500 in damage.
At about 3:20 p.m. Friday, a 2005 Jeep driven by a 26-year-old man and a 2003 bus driven by a 58-year-old man were involved in an accident on Mendenhall Loop Road. The driver of the Jeep was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance.
