Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Alan L. Tolles, 43, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 5, 2007, incident from which no blood-alcohol content was available. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr., imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Tolles $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• David George, 45, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Sept. 6, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .196 percent. Superior Court Judge Patricia A. Collins imposed 365 days in jail with 300 days suspended, fined George $5,000 with $2,000 suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for three years.

• Jackie A Knight, 28, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an Oct. 16, 2008, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .184 percent. Sivertsen imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Knight $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.

• David Diamond, 30, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an Oct. 16, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .197 percent. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 180 days in jail with 155 days suspended, fined Diamond $6,000 with $3,000 suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for two years.

• Robert Harris, 25, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an Oct. 30, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .142 percent. Sivertsen imposed 90 days in jail with 70 days suspended, fined Harris $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for three years.

• Paul Duran, 31, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Dec. 13, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .113 percent. Levy imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Duran $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Thomas D. McDonald, 28, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Dec. 27, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .183 percent. Levy imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined McDonald $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.
