...for pet assistance

The staff, board of directors, volunteers and most of all the animals at the Gastineau Humane Society wish to thank the many people that answered our call for food and goodies to be donated to the animals at GHS. We received over 50 cases of cat and dog food, 300 pounds of dry food, many toys for the animals, 400 pounds of kitty litter and many other donations. Our supply room is full, at least for a while. Your support was incredible and in additional you helped make Christmas a bit happier for our orphan animals waiting for a home of their own (and the humans at the shelter too!).

From all of us, thank you so much for caring. We cannot do this without your support. Happy New Year from all at GHS, but most of all from our furry friends in need.

Healthy Nations of Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska hosted the 4th annual Santa's Christmas Workshop Party at the ANB Hall in Juneau on Dec. 20. Over 425 people participated and the success is due to the individual organizations, agencies, corporations, businesses and volunteers who made this a reality. Gunalcheesh, ho, ho to Santa Claus, his elf and to our master of ceremonies, Paul Young. WE appreciate you taking the time to be part of this special community event.

Healthy Nations would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the 21 organizations, businesses, corporations and agencies who provided monetary donations: Prospector/T.K.
