Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


Shortly after 1 a.m. today, a man, 24, was arrested at an apartment complex on Glacier Highway for domestic violence assault. The suspect was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The victim was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Alcohol was involved in the incident.


At 9 a.m. Thursday, a man, 47, reported a red and white ski jacket stolen just before Christmas from Juneau-Douglas High School.

At 11 a.m. Thursday, a man, 54, reported the theft of a Motorola cell phone from his vehicle parked on North Jordan Avenue. The phone had no value.

At 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 22, was arrested at Alaska Cache Liquor for theft and resisting arrest. Alcohol was involved in the incident.

Warrant arrests:

Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday, a man, 23, was arrested at Glacier Manor half-way house on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to and lodged at state prison.

Hit-and-run incidents:

At 12:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 41, reported his 2001 Quadcab Dodge truck hit somewhere in Juneau. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side door.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 48, reported her 1989 Jeep Cherokee hit in front of a Franklin Street coffee house when an older brown van backed into it and then drove away. The Jeep sustained front bumper damage.
