Cody Wolf and Isaac Cadiente claimed individual titles Saturday as the Juneau-Douglas High School wrestling squad finished sixth at the 16-team West Valley Invitational in Fairbanks.
Wolf won the 103-pound title with a 5-3 decision over Wasilla's Bo Kittley, and Cadiente claimed the 145-pound title with a 12-4 major decision over Ketchikan's Matt Haseltine.
Juneau's Robert Vicario finished second to Wasilla's Jed Wade in a 3-2 decision at 189 pounds. Wade is an All-American and undefeated in the state this season.
In all, six Southeast wrestlers reached the finals at the tourney.
West Valley won the team title with 208 points, followed by Wasilla with 195. Ketchikan was fifth with 153 points, Juneau was sixth with 130 and Sitka was 11th with 99.5.
"All the kids from Southeast wrestled well," Juneau coach Bob Mahon said Saturday night from Fairbanks.
