JUNEAU - A 39-year-old man sought in connection with a Dec. 30 shooting in Lemon Creek was arrested early Monday morning on an outstanding warrant.
Thomas Leigh-Kendall was arrested at about 2:26 a.m. Monday on a $1,000 outstanding warrant in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. He is being lodged in the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Leigh-Kendall was being sought for questioning in regards to a shooting inside a residence at the Gruening Park Apartments shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 30. Leigh-Kendall allegedly fired one shot at a stereo before everyone inside the apartment fled the scene unharmed.
The case has been forwarded to prosecutors and is expected to be brought before a grand jury.
Leigh-Kendall has a lengthy arrest record, including felony convictions for sexual abuse of a minor, burglary and theft, as well as misdemeanor convictions of theft and driving while intoxicated.
