Alcohol involved in death of Upper Kalskag man

ANCHORAGE - Alaska state troopers said there was no sign of a crime in the death of a 65-year-old Upper Kalskag man whose body was found Sunday outdoors.

Troopers said alcohol was involved in the death of Steve Alexie.

The Anchorage Daily News reported he worked for many years as an administer for the city of Upper Kalskag, which has about 200 residents, 100 miles northeast of Bethel on the Kuskokwim River.
