Organization description: Alaska Health Fair Inc. provides an opportunity for community health education and medical screenings throughout Alaska. Services are provided for urban and rural communities, schools, seniors and special populations.

Years of service: 25.

Volunteer positions available: Volunteers are needed for nonmedical help at several fairs throughout the year. Services include help with registration, vision testing, height and weight measurement, and set up and take down at the event. Medical volunteers, C.N.As, L.P.N.s and R.N.s, are needed to take blood pressure and conduct check out and evaluation. Phlebotomists are needed to draw blood.

Hours: Volunteers are needed at various fairs.

Special requirements: Trained health care workers are needed.
