Parnell appoints Juneau man to Community Service Commission

Gov. Sean Parnell has appointed Steve Ricci of Juneau to the state's Community Service Commission.

The Commission prepares a national service plan for the state of Alaska and promotes service programs. Ricci is owner of Alaska Troll Caught LLC, a direct market fishing enterprise based in Juneau, and a legislative aide. He holds a bachelor's degree in social science from the University of Alaska Southeast. He is a former AmeriCorps Volunteer Field Educator and is appointed to a seat representing a community-based organization.
