Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Peter Michael Naoroz, 46, was arrested for drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit and reckless endangerment around 3 a.m. Sunday near Douglas Highway and John Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle was impounded.


A man, 22, was arrested for assault and domestic violence assault around 2 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

Police believe alcohol was involved in a domestic violence assault over the weekend. A man, 30, was arrested around 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the Douglas area. He was lodged at the state prison.


The theft of a vehicle stereo and its face plate was reported around 7 a.m. today from Lund Street. A man said his black Blaupunkt Miama AM/FM stereo with a single CD player and removable face plate had been taken from his vehicle. Damage to the dashboard was estimated at $100.

Extra patrol was requested by Lemon Creek residents over the weekend because of mail missing from boxes. The latest report was from a woman around 8:30 a.m. Saturday from Lemon Street who said her mail had been stolen again. She said it was a continuing problem for her and other residents on the street. Police said mail was found in a nearby ditch and the area has been posted for extra patrol.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Police responded to a man who reported around 10:40 p.m. Saturday from Mendenhall Mall Road that two of his tires had been slashed and the keys taken from the ignition of his unlocked vehicle. There are no leads and no suspects.

Underage drinking:

A man and a boy, ages 18 and 17, were cited and released for underage drinking at 1:45 a.m. today near Northland Street. A 23-year-old man at the scene was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Hit-and-run incidents:

A woman reported at 4:15 p.m. Saturday from Glacier Highway that her 1994 Eagle Summit was struck by an unknown vehicle. Police did not have an estimate of the damage.
