Former Juneau resident Diana J. Ostrom, 60, died Jan. 9, 2002, in Anchorage.
Born Oct. 19, 1941, in Billings, Mont., Ostrom moved to Alaska in 1974. She has lived in Skagway, Juneau and Anchorage. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Anchorage, a leader in 4-H and a volunteer for the Red Cross and Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, baking, fishing, traveling and was a Denver Broncos fan.
Her family said that she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Ostrom, Anchorage; daughter Julie LaMay and her husband Roy, Anchorage; son Randy Ostrom and his wife Caroline, Twin Falls, Idaho; son Jim Maestas and his wife Janelle, Espanola, N.M.; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southeast Alaska Cancer Society, 1057 West Fireweed Lane, Anchorage, AK 99506.
