Former Juneau-Douglas High School wrestler Jestin Hulegaard is continuing his success on the mats in Minnesota.
Hulegaard won the state 130-pound title in December 2000 as a sophomore and was named that tournament's outstanding wrestler. His family moved away from Juneau prior to the fall 2001 season.
Now a senior at Anoka High School near the Twin Cities, Hulegaard is currently ranked first in the state of Minnesota at 135 pounds. He is also listed in WrestlingUSA magazine's list of the top 30 high school senior wrestlers nationwide in his weight class.
Minnesota's state wrestling tournament will be held Feb. 27-March 1.
