Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at


• A parked 2005 Toyota was struck at 3:45 p.m. Thursday by an unknown vehicle near 9300 Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $1,200.

Automobile accidents:

• A 2004 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 45-year-old man was struck at 4:29 p.m. Thursday by a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old man near 10th Street and Glacier Avenue. The Cherokee sustained approximately $1,000 of damage.

• A 2004 GMC van driven by a 37-year-old man struck a 2000 Ford truck driven by a 41-year-old man near Highland Drive at 10:46 a.m. Friday. The van sustained $900 of damage.

• A driver was cited for speeding at 12:27 p.m. Friday after he lost control of a 1992 Subaru Legacy and drove into a guardrail near Egan Drive. The vehicle was totaled.

• A 42-year-old man reported at 4:04 p.m. Friday that his parked 2001 Dodge pickup was struck by a 1992 Ford Taurus driven by a 24-year-old woman near 3200 Hospital Drive. The pickup sustained $1,000 of damage.

Drunken driving:

• Kyle Davenport, 27, was arrested at 10:43 a.m. Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated on Hurlock Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center, and his car was impounded.
