ANCHORAGE - Two school bond proposals worth $97 million will be decided in an April election in Anchorage.
The school board on Monday voted to send the two facility improvement proposals to the April 7 election.
One proposal includes more than $66 million for an addition and renovations at Service High School. It also includes $2.5 million for a water and sewer line extension at Eagle River High, and $680,000 for improvements at Girdwood School.
The second proposal, at more than $27 million, is for building projects districtwide, including sprinklers, roof repairs and traffic safety improvements.
