More road, more trash

Forest Service fights trailhead trash

I read the Jan. 6, 2003, article about the Forest Service's struggle with trash with great interest.

It looks like we better get that road built northward so we can spread junk and trash from here to there. It will provide more areas for the irresponsible to party, drive their vehicles off the road, and dump household goods.

I wonder if the cost of picking up the people and trash is going to be a budgeted part of the highway maintenance.
