...for the support.
The Brown family is entirely grateful for your wonderful stories on Charlotte. A miracle may be in the works. Mike Race, President of Shriner Club spoke with Jason Brown, Charlotte's father. He said that the Shriners have been reading all material on Charlotte in the Juneau Empire and that they want to help. They want to have tests run on Charlotte and if the tests come out the way they think they will, then they believe she will walk again and are willing to put this money up. God does work in mysterious ways.
Her nieces continually show their love and faith in Charlotte, and are always saying things to her like "When you walk again, this is where we will go," or "this is what we will do."
Her mother Audrey said she just gave up telling them that she would not walk again and always looks up saying quietly, "Lord, they must know something I don't. Please listen to them." Beatrice, her grandmother believes in the power of prayer and on behalf of the entire family wants to say, "God Bless You."
Jason extends his appreciation to the community in all your donations for the "Alaska Glitter Girls." He is trying to get enough donations for their invitation to the Anchorage Folk Festival and even if he doesn't, will use what donations he has to save for another trip.
Hopefully, Charlotte will be recognized for the "Yes, I Can" Award that was submitted for exceptional children. Twenty-seven children will be selected at a special ceremony in New York. We welcome any requests from you to have the girls perform for you by calling 463-1507 or 209-2779. Thank you all again.
