Ephedra vs. tobacco

Regarding Mr. Mirsky's question about ephedra being banned, while tobacco is OK: Isn't it ironic that when I get around tobacco smoke, I need to use an asthma medication which contains ephedra because an inhaler alone has never quite helped me enough? Funny world, huh?
