I would like to thank the person who took my black Lab to the Humane Society where he would be safe.
To the woman who was selling Girl Scout cookies in Douglas on Tuesday: There are little Girl Scouts in town who could be doing the job themselves.
GCI cable is doing something with Seattle stations, knocking them off channel 14 and 15. Mine were off for over an hour this evening. I think GCI should keep all channels up.
Here we go again, Mark Farmer, trying to smooth over a comment that was directed toward him in Word of Mouth. Arrow Refuse' manager, Mr. Thompson, should never have been asked to be on the garbage bear committee. It is clearly a conflict of interest.
I've never had a problem finding my garbage can or my garbage can lid in a wind storm without my name and address on either. Thank you very much, Mark, but I don't think your ideas are workable. It is a fact that Arrow Refuse, has for years, intimidated people who share garbage service.
To the person who feels that salmon should be farmed in Alaska: You need to start supporting our Southeast fisheries because we are very important to the economy and people of Alaska.

We need a healthy management change at Sealaska. If nothing changes they will be out of business in five years. Would Sen. Mackie take the job?
Just how long ago did newspapers and media stop putting datelines on news articles?
"Dateline" has different meaning to different people. Into the 1960s, datelines included the places where events occurred as well as the date the article was written. The dates were phased out in most newspapers by 1970, leaving only the place reference. Most newspapers still use datelines on out-of-town stories but very few still include dates. - Editor
To the women in the red Ford that was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on Egan, you nearly sideswiped me.
I am employee of SEARHC and I'd like to request that the AFL-CIO come talk to the employers of SEARHC. We need some help. We need to be put on an equal footing with management and I'd like the board of directors to think about the decision they made back in February.
