Police and Fire

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Thefts:

• About $500 was stolen from a wallet between 9 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported Thursday from Willoughby Avenue.

Hit-and-run incidents:

• A 2000 Ford truck was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 10:58 a.m. Thursday near the parking lot of the University of Alaska Southeast. Police did not have a damage estimate.

Other:

• No one was injured when a small fire broke out under the dock at the Fisherman's Bend Marina around 8 a.m. Thursday. About 11 firefighters responded to the small fire that ignited beneath an electrical supply box below the dock. The fire had been put out by a nearby boat owner. Firefighters applied some foam to the area to make sure the fire was out. They did not have an estimate of damage.
