Automobile accident:

A 51-year-old man driving a van was struck at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday by a 22-year-old woman driving a 2000 Toyota truck near Auke Lake Way. A citation was issued to the woman for speeding. The Toyota sustained $1,000 in damages. The van was totaled.

Drunken driving:

George Estrela, 51, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday and charged with drunken driving and driving without a license near Front Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle was impounded.


A 55-year-old man reported at 2:45 p.m. Monday that his 2008 Chevy van was hit by an unknown vehicle near 600 West Seventh Street. Damage was estimated at $2,000.


A 39-year-old woman reported at 5:23 p.m. Monday that a window had been broken out of her 2004 Ford and her black leather purse was stolen near 600 West Willoughby Ave. Losses were estimated at $108.


A 51-year-old man reported at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday that $150 damage had been done to a window on 3800 Mendenhall Loop.
