Photo: Tiny bubbles in my ice

Frosted air bubbles frozen over a foot down in the ice of Twin Lakes show how the lake has thawed and refrozen during the winter chills. Some areas of ice are over two-feet thick. Caution should be observed where the stream flows into Twin Lakes and the edges of the lake.
