Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Automobile accidents:

• A 38-year-old woman backed a 2005 Dodge Neon into a truck with a trailer at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday near Anka Street. Damage to the Neon was estimated at $2,000.

• A 37-year-old man driving a 2005 Chevy struck a 1999 Audi driven by a 55-year-old man at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday near Third Street. Total damage was estimated at $1,000.

• A 56-year-old man driving a 1992 Silver Dodge truck struck a 1999 Ford driven by a 37-year-old man at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday near 8400 Airport Boulevard. Total damages were estimated at $4,000.

• A 1993 Eagle rolled over at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday on North Douglas Highway. There were no injuries. The vehicle was totaled.

• A 16-year-old boy driving a Ford Bronco rear-ended a 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by a 27-year-old woman at 8:26 a.m. Wednesday near Douglas Highway. Damages to the Ford were estimated at $2,000.

• A 19-year-old woman was cited for basic speeding at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday after she drove a 1994 Chevy into a 2000 Jeep, operated by a 30-year-old woman, near Engineers Cutoff. Total damages were estimated at $7,300.

• A 26-year-old woman was cited 1:22 a.m. Wednesday for reckless driving and hit-and-run and was released after she drove a 2004 Dodge truck into five vehicles near 2400 Douglas Highway. Total damage to the other vehicles was $8,600. Damage to the truck was estimated at $7,000. Alcohol was suspected.


• Police received a report at 12:29 a.m. Wednesday that a home on the 600 block of Sixth Street had been burglarized and $230 had been stolen.

Hit and Run:

• A 34-year-old man reported 8:22 a.m. Wednesday that an unknown driver hit his 1995 Honda Civic near 9100 Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $1,700.
