Automobile accident:
A 17-year-old boy was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance after he drove a 1991 Toyota truck into a 1997 Ford Taurus at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday on North Douglas Highway. Total damages were estimated at $10,000.
Domestic assault:
A 21-year-old man was arrested at 4:26 a.m. Thursday near 3300 Nowell Avenue and charged with domestic assault and interfering with an arrest. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Drunken driving:
Frank Miller, 43, was arrested at 3:57 a.m. Thursday on Sixth Street and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was lodged at the state prison and the vehicle was impounded.
Hit and Run:
Police received a report of a 2002 Chevy truck that was hit by an unknown driver 11:15 a.m. Thursday near 9100 Mendenhall Mall Road. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
