FAIRBANKS - Investigators said a 58-year-old man was sitting in the middle of a road when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Nulato, about 300 miles west of Fairbanks.
The body of Ralph Semaken was discovered Sunday. The driver had left the scene but was later identified and questioned by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported investigators are awaiting alcohol and drug test results from both men.
