Vehicle accidents:
In an accident reported at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, a 2003 tan Dodge sustained a dent to its right rear quarterpanel while parked downtown near Third and Seward streets.
In an incident reported at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 61, was found to be at fault for an accident near Mendenhall Mall Road involving his 2000 GMC and a 1996 Chevrolet. The GMC sustained $4,000 in damage, and the Chevy sustained $5,000 in damage.
A woman, 39, reported at 8:09 p.m. Wednesday that her 2004 Chevrolet was struck while parked near Mendenhall Mall Road. The accident left a dent in the front bumper.
In an accident reported at 7:51 a.m. Thursday near Mendenhall Loop Road and El Camino Street, a blue 2002 Chevrolet 4D was struck by a 1994 Red Toyota Tundra driven by a man, 41. The Toyota sustained $500 in damage.
Theft:
A woman, 51, was arrested for shoplifting at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
A man, 66, reported at 10:51 p.m. Wednesday a red and black shovel, worth $20, was stolen near North Douglas Highway.
A man, 39, reported at 6:38 a.m. Thursday that his blue 1985 Chrysler was rifled sometime over the night near Glacier Highway. A blue backpack with 30 to 40 compact discs, a CD player and two sets of darts were taken. The total value of the items is $1,200.
