Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Automobile accidents:

• A 49-year-old woman reported her parked Chevrolet Suburban sustained $2,000 in damage at 4:43 p.m. Saturday when it was struck by an unknown vehicle in downtown Juneau.

• A 43-year-old man in a 1991 Subaru Justy struck a 55-year-old man in a 2007 Subaru Forester at 8:53 a.m. Sunday on North Douglas Highway. The Justy sustained $3,000 in damage, and the driver was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance. The Forester sustained $1,500 in damage. No injuries were reported.

Domestic assault:

• A 40-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault, interfering with the report of domestic violence and reckless endangerment at 6:53 a.m. Sunday in the 4400 block of Wood Duck Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A 22-year-old man reported the theft of black Burton snowboard boots, clothing and a digital camera from his locked Jeep at 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive. The total value stolen was $1,200.

• A 49-year-old woman said a digital camera and an ashtray with change in it were stolen from her unlocked Jeep at 7:12 p.m. Friday at the corner of Fifth Street and Seward Street. The total value stolen was $102.


• A 28-year-old man reported $300 in damage to his door at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• An unidentified person reported that a $100 tire on a Ford was slashed at 6:53 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of South Seward Street.
