Driving while intoxicated:
Ventura Lara, 45, was arrested about 12:15 a.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Mall Road for drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.10 percent and three counts of reckless endangerment. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Assaults:
A man, 41, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. He was taken to state prison.
Thefts:
A man on Thunder Mountain Road reported Friday that a CD player and equalizer were stolen from his unlocked truck last week.
A man on Sixth Street reported Friday afternoon that a package of miscellaneous items worth $85 was stolen from outside his residence.
