Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving While Intoxicated:

Travis Nashoanak, 24, was arrested on two Juneau AST warrants around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday near Alaway Avenue. Nashoanak is charged with Reckless endangerment, two counts of probation violation on an offense of four counts of reckless endangerment and a count of drunken driving. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic Violence:

A woman, 42, was arrested for domestic violence criminal mischief, domestic violence criminal trespass, domestic violence theft and resisting arrest around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near Renninger Street. She was lodged at the state prison. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this crime.

Thefts:

A woman reported around 8 a.m. Tuesday from somewhere in the Juneau area that her black purse was stolen from her vehicle sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. Monday.

Vehicle accidents:

Police cited a woman, 50, around 7 a.m. Tuesday near Loop Road for failing to stop at a red light. A 1996 Chrysler, driven by the woman, struck a 2000 Pontiac, driven by a woman, 20. There was $5,000 in estimated damage to the Chrysler and $2,000 damage to the Pontiac.

A woman, 22, was cited around noon Tuesday near Main Street for failure to maintain a safe distance when her 1989 Chevrolet struck a 1986 Chevrolet driven by a man, 18. The 1989 Chevrolet had $250 in damage while the 1986 Chevy had $50 in damage.

Police cited a woman, 26 around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway for violating basic speed limit after she lost control of the Ford Taurus and struck a parked Subaru station wagon. The Ford sustained $4,000 in damage and was towed from the scene.

Alcohol-related calls: 1.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for area mailbox riffling and vandalism. On Dec. 23, police received several reports of mailboxes being rifled as well as torn, strewn or stolen mail. The vandalized areas include Melrose Street to Back Loop and from Riverside Drive to Delta Drive.
